Decorative Fireplace with Gas
The gas decorative fireplace is the best option for a decorative outdoor fireplace because of its high heat output and the flame is much more wind resistant than some of the alternatives.
These types of fireplaces are widely used in the hospitality industry, because they both create beautiful flames, but also give off a good amount of heat. These decorative fireplaces are, therefore, perfect to keep you warm on long summer evenings.
Please be aware that outdoor gas fireplaces are for outdoor use only. For a gas fireplace to be used indoors, it requires a flue connection to remove toxic fumes that are created during the combustion process. Using a gas fireplace indoors without proper ventilation is harmful to health and can in the worst case be life-threatening.
Decorative gas fires are a perfect alternative for people, who want to enjoy real flames on the patio, but don't want the hassle of a wood-fired outdoor fireplace. Of the various fireplaces that produce real flames, the gas fireplace is the most suitable for outdoor use, because of the wind and weather-resistant flames and taking into account environmental friendliness and high heat output.
Wood-burning fireplaces give off a similar amount of heat, but are less environmentally friendly, due to the creation of particulate matter during combustion.
Many people aren't interested in gas fireplaces because of the LPG cylinder that is required, people prefer not to have a separate gas bottle on the terrace. However, many of our products have an integrated place for the gas cylinder. In a lot of our beautiful fireplaces from Muztag, the gas bottle can be hidden inside the fireplace. We also have gas bottle enclosures from Happy Cocooning that can hide a gas bottle as well as serve as a beautiful side table.
Gas decorative fireplaces come in many shapes and sizes, such as beautiful patio heaters, but also as tables with built-in gas fireplaces.

Electric Decorative Fireplace
Electric fireplaces, as the name suggests, require electricity to work. The flame effects of an electric fireplace are generally generated using a combination of LED lights, mirrors and light panels, but can of course differ depending on the model and manucaturer.
Common for all electric fireplaces is that the flame effects do not generate any heat effect. So for an electric fireplace to generate heat, it needs to be equipped with a heating element, usually in the form of a fan heater, that can be turned on and off separately from the flame effects.
The installation of an electric fireplace is often super simple and is just a matter of connecting the fireplace to an electric wall socket before it is ready to turn on.
This type of decorative fireplace is safe and easy to use, and comes in many shapes and sizes, such as a built-in fireplace, wall fireplace or a free-standing floor fireplace. You can also find the electric fireplaces in many styles. There are many old-fashioned stoves that are reminiscent of the cast iron stoves, that were used to heat houses 100 years ago. But there are also electric inserts that can turn an old-fashioned fireplace into an electric fireplace for greater safety, as well as being better for the environment. Finally, there are also the beautiful, modern electric fireplaces that fit in a minimalistic interior.
Electric fireplaces are also extremely suitable to be built into a media wall, so you get a beautiful flame effect while you watch your favourite show. Because there are no real flames, you do not have to abide by the various safety regulations that the bio-ethanol fireplaces require in a media wall. So you can let your imagination run wild and build the perfect media wall with decorative fireplace that fits into your interior.
Electric fireplaces are particularly suitable for households with small children and pets. These decorative fireplaces do not create real flames, but the illusion of flames or images of flames. Children or pets cannot get hurt by this. It is the perfect solution for people who want flames but no danger.

Hybrid Decorative Fireplace
A hybrid decorative fireplace is a fireplace that offers the safety of an electric fireplace, but creates a very realistic flame effect. The hybrid technology uses water vapour and LED lighting to create the realistic flames.
The technology behind the hybrid fireplace is quite extraordinary and built upon a so-called transducer that with the help of ultrasonic vibrations turns water into a mist, which is then illuminated using lights to create a beautiful flame effect. This means that the flame effects are quite cool and don't offer any heat or fire hazards.
Hybrid fireplaces are often also called Opti-myst fireplaces, named after the Dimplex Opti-myst fireplaces. Dimplex was one of the first companies to make this type of hybrid fireplace and today all hybrid fireplaces build upon the technology Dimplex created.
Hybrid decorative fireplaces come in many shapes and sizes, such as built-in cassettes and wall-mounted opti myst fireplaces. Because these fireplaces do not create heat, but does create beautiful fake flames, they are extremely safe for households with children or pets.
Because hybrid fireplaces do not create any heat and don't require any flue- or ventilation system, they can be implemented in almost any type of building project and renovation process. Only your imagination sets the limit.
The standard for most hybrid fireplaces is that they have an internal water reservoir that needs to be refilled every 8-12 hours of use. But some models offer the possibility to be connected directly to the mains water connection, making it draw automatically refill with water whenever needed. A third option is to have a large external water tank that is connected to the hybrid fireplace and only needs to be refilled very rarely. But only very limited numbers of models offer this possibility.
