Easy and quick conversion

It is quite easy to convert your old wood burning stove to either a bioethanol fireplace or electric fireplace.

Should you choose an electric fireplace insert for existing fireplace, the only thing you need to think about is to connect the electric fireplace to power. You just need to click a button to turn it on, and it is possible to adjust between two levels.

With a bioethanol fireplace insert for your open fire, you get the flame within 1 minute. Simply pour the bioethanol fuel into the bio ethanol burner, and you are good to go. You will have beautiful flames that will spread a warm and cosy atmosphere in the room. The good thing about a bioethanol fireplace is that it is low-maintenance, and it does not require much cleaning, as it does not emit either smoke, soot, or ash.

Close off chimney

Take advantage of the heating effect from a bioethanol fireplace and make sure the heat does not seep directly out of the chimney. It is therefore important to make sure to close off the chimney and let the heat get in your livingroom. Even though an ethanol fire cannot be used as a primary heat source the same way a wood burning stove can, it can create a cosy and warm feeling in the room, while also being able to enjoy the beautiful flames from the bioethanol fireplace insert.

Decorations for your Fireplace

Once you have placed either the bioethanol fireplace insert or electric fireplace insert in your existing open fire or wood burning stove, you can add various different kinds of decoration to your fireplace.

You can add bioethanol fireplace deco-logs, also called ceramic wood. The decoration is made of ceramic and is, therefore, very robust and stable. We recommend to not place the wood directly into the flame, since it can cause a bad smell from the bioethanol fuel, but to rather place it around the flame instead.

You can also add ceramic stones. Ceramic stones are available in several colours and adds a stylish and modern look to your bio ethanol fire of electric fireplace.
