The ONI Flogs is a ceiling-mounted, suspended bioethanol fireplace with a striking bonfire silhouette that floats above the room without needing a wall or floor connection. Realistic ceramic logs sit within tall, dynamic flames, powered by Planika's automatic FLA4 Flogs BEV® burner, for a natural, immersive fire rather than the flat, linear flame most bioethanol burners produce.

With Net Zero BEV Technology®, the fireplace burns bioethanol cleanly - no ash, soot, or wood handling required. Flames appear within about two minutes of ignition, giving you the ambience of a real fireplace on demand. The ONI Flogs is available in two heat-extraction variants - Flue Connection or In-Room Vent - so you can choose the option that fits your space.

Flue Connection Version

This version connects to a chimney with proper draught, redirecting excess heat outdoors and keeping the fireplace as a purely visual focal point while the room stays at a stable temperature. It must not be connected to ventilation ducts used for supplying air to the room. The suspension height adjusts between 2005-3005 mm to fit your ceiling.

In-Room Vent Version

This version releases heat directly into the room through vertical slots at the top of the flue pipe - no chimney required. It suits chimney-free spaces, including installation in the center of open-plan rooms where a chimney system would be impossible or too costly. The suspension height adjusts between 2660-3405 mm to fit your ceiling.

Materials & Design

Built from steel and galvanized steel with a sleek black powder-coated finish, the ONI Flogs features a tempered glass front and a ∅1100 mm suspended housing. It's available exclusively in this single, standard material and finish.

Installation

The ONI Flogs needs a 230V power supply and a minimum room size of 69 m³, with an air exchange rate of one full room volume per hour. At around 145 kg, the fireplace is heavy for a ceiling-mounted fixture - the structural capacity of the ceiling at the mounting point must be checked and confirmed suitable before installation. Because the unit is suspended, the power cable runs down through the mounting tube, so a 230V supply needs to be brought to the ceiling at the installation point rather than to a wall or floor outlet. The Flue Connection variant requires a chimney with proper draught, with a suspension height adjustable between 2005-3005 mm. The In-Room Vent variant needs no chimney - heat exits through vents at the top of the flue pipe - with a suspension height adjustable between 2660-3405 mm. The fireplace is open by design and can't be fully enclosed behind glass, since the firebox grate and control panel need unobstructed access. For indoor use only.
